May 16, 200818 yr 2001: A space Travesty (not sure advice was for old or new 2001) Sounds like a parody, so I hope you've seen 2001: A Space Odyssey. Then again you said you weren't into sci-fi, so maybe not. Must see 'guy' movies include: Pulp Fiction Snatch Fight Club The Original Star Wars trilogy (don't let the sci-fi stigma get in the way of watching these... they really are fun movies. But try not to steer clear of the Special Editions.) Alien (I mean, if you're looking to broaden your film history, this is kind of a must. It's really more of a general monster movie than sci-fi, kind of.) The Terminator (the whole trilogy is decent enough although 1 and 2 are both much better than 3... again, sci-fi but good 'guy' movies) The Predator (same as above) The Indiana Jones Trilogy Must see comedies: Clerks Old School UHF Monty Python and the Holy Grail Super Troopers Beerfest Waiting Fast Times at Ridgemont High Dazed and Confused Superbad Dumb and Dumber This Is Spinal Tap Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle History of the World Part 1 Blazin Saddles Airplane! Waynes World Talledega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby Must see classic movies from my childhood: Ferris Buellers Day Off Willow The Goonies The Princess Bride Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ghostbusters I and II Gremlins I and II ET Monster Squad Pee-Wees Big Adventure (seriously, this isn't just a kids movie) Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and some other favorites/good ones: Jurassic Park Donnie Darko Akira Transformers The Stand (and 8 hour made-for-TV mini-series) Spiderman X-Men 1 and 2 Highlander The Lord of the Rings Garden State Glory ...that's all I've got time for right now.

May 16, 200818 yr Not many people have heard of this movie but its one of my favorite movies - The Boonedock Saints. Great movie! I almost gave myself a brain aneurism trying to come up with that one guy movie I was missing... The Boondock Saints is definitely it. Also, though I assume it's been mentioned already, Full Metal Jacket.
