P.E.T.A. is a bunch of radical idiots that have absolutely no idea how or why things are done other than they have figured out that they can get their sorry butts noticed every so often and be shown on T.V. , they are pathetic. I am used to slamming them and dealing with their anti hunting agenda. That is an entire other thread. My point is that I don't think that anyone takes these idiots serious, if there is anyone that does well, if it walks like, acts like, and smells like then it must be ............. I had better stop now or someone may get the idea that I don't like P.E.T.A. :sssh:.

They do some good, like pushing for better surfaces at tracks, and a lot of stuff outside of horse racing. But as you said, they then go off and lose a good part of their credibility.

May 5, 200818 yr PETA will not be happy until everyone in the world is a vegetarian....then they will form PETV. You're not far off the mark. They're part of the extreme tree hugger movement who thinks the world would be better off without humans. They're probably right about that, but it may not be practical.

PETA does some good and important things. I would say with confidence that most PETA members are no bigger idiots than those who elected George Bush as president.
May 5, 200818 yr I'm pretty sure Pamela Anderson has been to the Derby. And I'm pretty sure she spent her time there on Millionairs row, and I'm also sure she partook in all the pre Derby parties. Yet isn't she "Ms. Peta" and yet she didn't have a problem with HER freebee ride to the Derby.:irked: I guess Ms. Peta wasn't invited this year and now their ticked.
