Wow. Explains his senior season. Great to know he beat cancer, though!

And I thought I was inspired by Chris's play on the basketball court. This is truely amazing. Thank God for the random drug test. Chris seems to just live his life to overcome adversity and I truely admire him as a person. He is a heck of a basketball player but his goes to show that he is an even better person.

I heard this story on WKYT and was shocked!!

I have always been a fan of Lofton and really hate to hear that he has had to endure such a tough battle. Although I personally do not know Chris, he seems like a great guy and has always represented himself with class.

I am glad that he has beaten this horrible disease and will keep Chris and his Family in my Prayers that he remains healthy.

The ESPN story moved me to tears. God bless this young man and sincere congratulations on beating this terrible disease. Hopefully he'll never face a challenge like this again.

The ESPN story made me cry too. Having seen Chris all thorugh High School in the 10th region and following his College career I have always had the highest respect for this young man. Thank goodness for the drug test. As a parent of a only child I can't imagine what all they had to go through. Prayers to you and your family Chris....you are a remarkable young man.:thumb:

Amazing, I guess now we know why his numbers slipped early in the year, so sad. Glad he has pulled through though.

Was this story on todays 6 pm sportscenter?

Will continue to pray for Chris and his family. This is simply amazing. It's a tough situation for the whole family. Just glad that he has beat this terrible disease. Good luck C-Lo.

Just stunned like everyone else when I saw the story today.

Just unbelievable. Best wishes to him as he moves forward with his life. :thumb:

Wow I just read it on ESPN. I've always been a fan but even more now. That just goes to show you never know what others are going through in their lives. It's easy to judge people but you never know what is going on in their lives. I'm glad he's OK!

Great story. All the luck to Lofton in the future.

I don't want to turn this into a UK thread, but if something like this happened to a player in Lexington, there is no way it would be able to be kept under wraps like it was in Knoxville.
