A Florence woman claims Bengals linebacker Ahmad Brooks punched her in the face...

Featured Replies

Destiny Rosich gave a sworn statement Wednesday that Brooks was arguing outside her neighbor’s home on April 9 in the 7600 block of Banklick Street.

She said her children were outside playing and began to cry because Brooks and the neighbor were about to start a fist fight.

Brooks told the neighbor that he was going to “split his head open,” Rosich wrote in her statement.

That when she “nicely approached” Brooks and asked him to stop and “take it somewhere else,” according to the statement.

“He then pulled back his fist and struck (punched) me in the left eye,” Rosich wrote. “I then fell and blacked out.”

Awesome. :irked: If true (a big "if"), this will definitely help thin out the overabundance of quality LB's the Bengals seem burdened with.

It's not that big of an if. Not with this team and this particular player.

The man with probably the most insight out of all of us just gives un an article. :irked:

You are right, it is a great story. However, it is one I am not going to tell until the criminal part of this is complete.

Ah, the Bengals. Like the old Raiders, but without the wins and the ability to intimidate (unless you're a civilian).

Wouldn't you think that the man responsible for building this team would be held responsible for bringing in a number of players who had legal problems before they got here and have continued to have them?

They were giving the Bengals linebacking group across the board yesterday and I thought man that might be the strength of the team if the loose cannons have grown up.....

Have charges been filed?

Yes, charges have been filed by the victim. She had the Boone County Attorney's office review her complaint and they took the complaint meaning it is the same as if the police had charged Brooks.

I know. Just bustin' your chops. :D

No problem.

This thing has been burning a hole in my pocket for weeks but everything needs to take its natural course.

This reminds me of last year when Henry got arrested after the Pittsburgh game and no one ever found out about it.
