April 26, 200818 yr What's the quickest way to go from big time player to a bum? Pick somewhere other than UK... If he had chosen UK yesterday, he would be in the starting lineup, possible All-SEC this season, and AT LEAST all-American his senior year. At Hawaii...not possible!
April 26, 200818 yr Good luck in the Mountain West you fool. I was wanting him to come to UK too, but since he chose otherwise, it dont give us no reason to start calling him a fool.
April 26, 200818 yr What's the quickest way to go from big time player to a bum? Pick somewhere other than UK... Laughable isn't it?
April 26, 200818 yr I never said he was a bum at all. Going to a school like UK as opposed to Hawaii would definitely improve your NBA chances.

April 26, 200818 yr Why? The scouts will find you if you're good. Although true, you're more likely to go higher in the draft coming from a bigtime, nationally recognized program. I wish the best for the kid. Sounds like he may need some luck to even make it onto any campus.
April 26, 200818 yr Western Athletic Conference Thanks, it was getting late when I posted that :thumb:
April 26, 200818 yr I don't personally feel like he had an offer... I feel that the only players who currently have offers are Majok and Harrellson, with McCoy getting an official offer very soon... I could be so far off base that a catcher could throw me out laying on his back though.. My thoughts are that this could actually be a good sign for UK fans. There could be something big getting ready to happen that we haven't heard about yet.

April 26, 200818 yr 8 of the 16 leading scorers for playoff teams didn't even play in college... But that doesn't matter now, does it?
April 26, 200818 yr But that doesn't matter now, does it? Do you think any would have been hindered by a year in Hawaii???
April 26, 200818 yr Do you think any would have been hindered by a year in Hawaii??? No, but if Flemings was that good, why didn't he jump? I'm not saying this kid isn't going to be good since he's going to Hawaii. Just seems like he could have enjoyed a higher competition level, more exposure and better coaching if he came to Kentucky. Best of luck to him.
