What is the correct way to eat a hot dog?

The sweet and tangy mixture of ketchup and mustard.

I love a good ol' plain hotdog, I can't stand mustard period, nor ketchup on a hot dog.

I like mine with caramelized onions and mustard.

With a slice of cheese wrapped around it.

 

Also like to take two hot dogs, split them open and lay them flat on a piece of bread. Then take fresh tomatoes and put on them then add another piece of bread.

I'm not sure if you can count coney as a way because its a totally different thing that you have to order specifically. If I'm getting a hot dog at say a Reds game or a gas station, mustard no doubt.

Hot Dogs fresh off the grill, cooked until they are starting to burst, are one of my favorite summer time foods.

 

As far toppings go, you really can't go wrong in my opinion. If it's a bratwurst, I'll take sourkraut on it. If it's a hot dog, you can't go wrong with sauce mustard and onion.

I go for one mustard and one ketchup, but never on the same dog.
