Sorry; for those of you who don't know who this is, she is the Mom of four children. Two of her boys currently attend St. X and play on the football team. She is also the sister-in-law of Miguel and Juan Montano, who are both coaches at St. X.

Sympathies and prayers from Ft. Thomas! These are difficult times for all!

She also was a Jefferson Circuit Court Judge and was very well-respected. The legal community is saddened as well, and certainly offers its thoughts and sympathy to the family.

Her family is in our hearts and prayers.

This is terrible news. I worked for a few years in an office next door to Kathleen's husband Joe. Just a super-nice guy with what sounded like a wonderful family. The Montano's will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It has been a sad day around the fam today. My wife went to grade school and high school with Maria Montano, while my mother in law was great friends with Kathy. My father in law sat on the bench for 9 years. This is a dark time, and she was juct fo very young.

The Montano family is very well respected not only at X, but in the entire community. This is a terrible loss. Judge Montano was well repected and liked as a Judge, and Mother, and her loss will be felt by many.

Just read her story and its really sad. Prayers for everyone involved.

I am stunned and I don't know what to say . Kathy & Joey are friends, neighbors and fellow parish members of St.Albert the Great.She was a good friend and mom. Please keep Joey and the kids in your prayers.
