Just got back from a memorial for Mitch at the Football Stadium. The Bluebird family came together to grieve and remember Mitch. Lots of sadness, but happy memories of Mitch were shared by many. It will take a long time to heal, but tonights ceremony was a great first step in the process. Rest in Peace Mitch.

I ask for comfort in this time of loss.

Prayers for comfort to the family and friends of this young man from this bluebird in Pendleton County.

My son just got a text message from a friend, "There will be a memorial service for Mitch, Friday morning at 7:30, at Highland United Methodist Church across from the high school. Please be there to support Mitch and his family."

This was just such a shame. I coached Mitch in Jr. Football. Great kid. Very hard working kid. My heart and prayers go out to his parents and family. Man, such a shame. As others have mentioned, hug your kids and accept their imperfections.

Last night at the prayer memorial for Mitch, Coach Mueller mentioned that today at 8 a.m. Cov. Cath was going to have a memorial for Mitch. Very nice thing to do.
