April 8, 200818 yr Some fun facts thanks to the people at Yahoo. Suppan has struggled against the Reds, though, going 3-2 with a 6.05 ERA in 11 career starts. The Reds (4-3) split their four-game series against Philadelphia over the weekend, losing 5-3 and managing only five hits in Monday’s finale. They’ll play their next nine games on the road, where they were just 33-48 last year. Milwaukee and Cincinnati have split 34 games over the past two seasons. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview;_ylt=AtTHYHmeYMO15Okiox9fg3o5nYcB?gid=280408108

April 8, 200818 yr Maybe it says something for the franchise when you're able to trade away pitching for a position player. From looking up this article on Perales it appears he doesn't have great speed, doesn't have a lot of power. Just might be one of those guys that has to develop. They say in this article that he wouldn't likely be ready til 2011. Obviously the Reds see something in him and decided to take a chance on him. I think we all saw from last season that Coutlangus wasn't going anywhere with this team. I do agree with you though, the Reds bullpen seems to be getting better, so why not trade a guy who wasn't going to have a spot down there anyway. http://diamondbacks.scout.com/2/709994.html
April 8, 200818 yr I'm excited for tonight's matchup. I hope Cueto doesn't have a letdown, however even if he does I understand its going to be a process. I love the feeling I have with this team right now, optimism.
