April 8, 200818 yr I'll be saying this a lot over the next year, so get used to it. The 08 class does not have a lot of 1 and done talent. I think you see quite a few guys hold off this year because there aren't any Beastley/Durant/Oden/Rose/Gordon types on the way. Psycho has no chance at a lottery pick this year. Next year it's very likely... Not to mention the rumor the NBA and NCAA have been in talks to change the time you have to stay in college before coming to the NBA to 2 years. I think what Hansbrough is thinking is that he could become one of the legends of the college game if he returns as well.
April 8, 200818 yr He seems to enjoy college and if he stays he more than likely will have his name on the top of almost every North Carolina and some ACC/NCAA records. Also he is very passionate about winning and so far he hasn't won anything by North Carolina standards. He needs to stay, he has solid reasons to stay, whether he will or not I guess depends on who is putting what in his ear.
April 8, 200818 yr It was reported that he resigned the lease on his apratment with his roommates 2 weeks ago for another year. That would indicate that he is planning to stay, but lets face it, he could reimburse everyone should he opt out. He is an exceptional basketball player. Extremely intelligent and a better athlete than given credit for. What makes me think he can be successful in the NBA is his toughness. He has good size, but size does not equate in the NBA. You have to have an attitude, and that he has. He will be a 12/6 guy for the right team (12 pts/6 reb).
April 8, 200818 yr With all the lovely co-eds at UNC I would have no problem staying...get a clue T! Plus with the pay CUT of going to the NBA, he wouldn't be able to take all those coeds to as many nice places.....

April 8, 200818 yr The man is a better version of Mark Madsen (Mad Dog was an All American and POY candidate)...Hansbrough will be eaten alive by 4s in the League...career 8 ppg and 6 rpg...nothing special Mark Madson is a very good comparison. I little more offensive than Madson.
