April 2, 200818 yr This is very, very shocking news. They were a very close family. I believe Russ only lasted a year or so at Union, if that. Joe, his brother, was a standout there.
April 2, 200818 yr From the story, I would say "money." I'm not sure if all those charges are directly related to the the case of his parents. He was arrested last night on charges unrelated to the murder, so it's possible that one or two of the charges listed are separate.
April 2, 200818 yr Unbelieveable. When they were selling their house in '05, my girlfriend and I went with her Mom to look at it. They were home at the time and were incredibly nice. Their sons were home and seemed nice to. Just incredible.

There was no break in and right away the cops thought it had to be someone that knew the family really well. Not even once did they say the people of Grant County or NKY should be on the lookout for a person on the loose who got in to these people house and killed them.

The rumor about their son has been going around town since the day of their funeral. Very sad to be betrayed by someone so close to you.

He was very polite and NEVER, EVER did I think he could do this.
