May 18, 200818 yr Yeah, I saw several people on that side fishing. I have a brother in law who works at the hatcherie. I'll have to talk to him. YOu don't need permission to go that way or anything. They don't mind at all. Just make sure you don't cast a crankbait in the little viewing pool as you enter the hatchery, LOL. :thumb:
May 19, 200818 yr I caught my limit of rainbows today in Morehead (Triplett Creek). Also caught a nice array of smallmouths, redeyes, and bluegills/sunfish. Anybody have any good trout recipes? I decided to keep those since they usually die after being caught anyways.
May 21, 200818 yr Just returned from Mitchell's Bay on Lake St. Claire. Talked about a small mouth paradise:jump: Weather was horrible - wind, rain, 2-3 foot waves. But many small mouths over 4 pounds taken. I caught a nice 5 pounder

May 23, 200818 yr Author Fish are still being caught with very good sucsess on the Greenup Pool of the Ohio River. I would imagine this would be the same for anywhere along the River. Bass are stll being caught in the tributaries and backwater sloughs on spinnerbaits and plastics. Crappie fishig is also good. I have heard reports of a few small muskie caught (by bass fishermen) in the Little Sandy along with one very good one, 44".
