PHS lost their composure offensively as well about halfway through the 4th qtr. That led to them losing their composure on the floor as well. They play hard. Give them credit. They just didn't control their emotions. Hats off to the Dogs for both the victory and not getting flustered.

I think of Holmes I think of an inner city school, with a great coach, and uber athletic players.

 

Seen them my entire life and I can't think of an instant I have ever characterized the program, the team, the school as being "dirty".

Are you serious? Didn't LexCath just win today by only 7? Holmes is a better team than the team LexCath struggled with today.

Way to go Bulldogs. Good Luck tomorrow. I'd also like to say it sounds like they have a very good head coach. He should be commended for the job he's done with this team.

I will admit I was wrong in saying they have a reputation for being dirty, I didn't mean it like that. Because on the court they don't play dirty, and I have never heard anything like that. So I really didn't mean that. I meant to talk about how Holmes usually does have disicipline problems, and usually just dont play as a team. Which usually stops them from being a great team usually. So I wish I could reword what I said, because it didn't come out at all like I meant it. Holmes is usually IMO the most talented team in the 9th, but just never can put it all together for reasons I have said. That is why I really do love this team because how well they play together and just the great chemistry they have. They aren't selfish, and just do the right things on the court.

Last year's senior class has apparently caused all of the previous teams to be labeled as "thugs." Not true.

We should give some credit to the PHS boys. They basically played 5 players the entire game and they do not play a slow-down game. Those boys were in shape.

We should also give a "shout out" to the PHS pep band. That was a unique pep band with all of the precussions, no horns, and a couple of xylophones. I heard Soulja Boy, Bob Marley, and others. Very entertaining.

I guess some can not understand warnings.
