I think there are some teams in this tournament that could suprise some people and be playing on saturday. My favorite sleeper is Shelby County by far. With 8 deep and a strong presence in the post with great size, followed by 2 very quick talented guards they could give some teams a run, and might get a chance to play on saturday morning.

I don't know if you can consider them a sleeper but if UHA can knock off LexCath then I think they have as good a shot as anyone...

The thing is - they are capable of hitting that many on any given night. I'm just not sure that they'll be able to stop Miller. This game will at least be competitive.

The team with the best chance of knocking off Mason County in the lower bracket is Paducah Tilghman. They have the size and firepower inside to really give Mason fits. Of course, they have to beat Greenwood first to get to the quarterfinals, and that is far from a given.

I really like Hazard to be playing on Saturday, mostly b/c they got a great draw. But I dont think it would much of an upset for them to beat SL and then the Shelby/Lincoln winner. So I'm not sure that really qualifies them as a sleeper team, but since they are a small school i figure they're worth mentioning.

I'd say in the upper bracket Jeffersontown and in the lower bracket either Hazard or Paducah Tighlman.

 

Hazard has the best shot at making it to the final four from the lower bracket. I really think PT could give Mason Co fits with their inside game. But then again they also have nobody who can stop Miller.
