I now think Holmes is the team to beat.

Holmes depth makes them more likely to have some energy left if they were to win Saturday morning. I still think LexCath will beat them though. Beating a relatively fresh Mason County on Saturday night is what concerns me most. LexCath only goes eight deep and that will be their undoing on Saturday if they make it that far.

This could be their undoing if they meet Holmes as well. I have seen Holmes' depth and they can go 10-11 deep and not miss a beat and Henley knows how to use that depth as well. I think if Holmes meets Lex Cath this would be the game of the tournament.

If Novosel stays in the game, I think LexCath beats Holmes, If he gets in foul trouble and spends much of the game on the bench the reverse is true. Holmes will take it to the hole so this concerns me. Stewart makes silly fouls usually out on the perimeter and he will need to quit that.

I think if Holmes and LC do meet you'll see a lot of penetration from Holmes to try to get the big guys in foul trouble. Also, I don't see Holmes taking a lot of quick shots against LC. They will work it around and probably slow it down in their half court set. With Novosel out of the game Holmes could very well beat LC.

Don't know about that now. MC will have a tough way to go after they played a tough one against Elliott. I was not impressed with MC.

After seeing just about every team I believe Holmes will win it.

I have not heard of anything that would lead me to believe LexCath is not going to win it. No team has played better down the stretch.

I picked Holmes and PT for the finals in the contest...I also picked Elliott to upset Mason...they almost did.
