Jeffersontown for no particular reason other than they tend to come into this tournament as underdogs but get the job done, and that favorites rarely live up to their advance billing in this tournament.

If J-Town can rebound with the taller teams, they can make some more noise. I'm seeing and hearing a lot of chatter about Cov Holmes. Based upon that, I have a feeling they will be making some noise of their own. I saw Henderson on the AAU trail, fantastic athlete and I can see him leading a team to a title.

I think people are forgetting the #1 team at the end of the season.:laugh:

Nobody is forgetting about Lexcath. But if you think about who they are going to have to beat just to get to the finals, it won't be as easy as you think.

 

Round one they have University Heights with two of the top 5 players in the state.

 

Round two they get somewhat of a break in the Central/Owensboro winner.

 

Semi's they will most likely see a very athletic defensive team in Holmes who also matches up with them height wise.

 

And then later that night they will meet most likely the #1/#2 team in the state in Mason Co.

 

If Lexcath wins the state tournament, they truly deserve it and have earned it. They do come in the tournament as the hottest team though, the way they rolled through the 11th.
