West had only 1 returning starter and 2 points and 1 rebound back from last years squad- was to be a down year- they will be young next year as well but the program seems to be in good hands.

Congrats to Lincoln they are a class program and hope they do win some games at Rupp- they are a very well coached team and have great high school players!

Congrats PATs, from one very proud Alumni!!!

Got my lower arena seats locked up, feeling pretty good about it. I set up top last year, it was awful. I would rather take a beating the seat in the upper end zone at Rupp.

First school in the region to repeat since Boyle in 1998, doesnt that year bring back some memories!!!! :thumb:

Congrats to Lincoln, see you all at Rupp!

Against the 8th Region (Shelby County/South Oldham/Gallatin County)

Gallatin and Shelby are in the finals.

Glad to see Jeff Jackson make it back to Rupp ... hopefully Lincoln plays better than they did last year.

Very good game, this was my first highschool bb game of this season to watch in person really like what I saw from the game and congrats to LC for the win,I think this team can win a game or two in the Sweet 16 unlike last year when they got put out in the first round. So good luck LC at Rupp.

Congratulations to Lincoln Co. This Jumper fan will be pulling for you guys at Rupp. Good luck and make the 12th region proud.

I was very impressed with the TEAM play of Lincoln last night & for the entire tournament. Ryan Young has my vote for 12th Region Player of the Year(not that I have one, but if I did...). That kid was simply amazing this year. The student section for Lincoln was on fire all night! I absolutely loved the throwback unis they were wearing, although some of the guys need not EVER be seen in such apparel again!;)

On a side note, some fans in the West student section tried to ruin a great game & tournament by throwing bottles on the court after the final horn sounded. The kids who did that are a complete embarrassment to West Jessamine & the 12th Region tournament. I hope they were caught & taken care of appropriately.

Again, congratulations to Lincoln County on a great season & 12th Region Championship! Good Luck @ Rupp!

Congrats to my pats...They played their guts out tonight, and it was truly a team win. Good luck at Rupp

BC won it in 98 and 99. Springate was a monster on those teams. I think BC actually won a game at Rupp one of those years. BC won it again in 06.

LC won the region in in 07 and 08. Bascially, what I am getting at is the the 45th district has been on the roll the last decade. The schools in the 45th are considered to be football schools, but they have been playing some good basketball.

I would of liked to see what Coach Jackson could of done with some of the talent at LC in the late 90's and early 00's. He is a great coach, this makes his 8th appearance (assistant and head) as a coach in the Sweet Sixteen.

Congrats to Lincoln Co. They were really the best team in the 12th All season. Good luck at the Sweet Sixteen.

Congrats to the Patriots. As Joe said, they were the best all year.

Lincoln proved it was on top of it's game all year long and only had one loss in a very competitive 12th Region. It would have been nice to see what McCreary could have done in the tournament considering they were 3-1 against the final four teams left (Four point loss @ WJ).

What will Lincoln have next season? Rebuilding year?
