March 7, 200818 yr Sad. Would be a nice thing to have when you are older and would appreciate what you did when you were younger. I guess you would miss it if you ever came back for one of the reunions and saw everyone else with theirs, ugly or not.
March 7, 200818 yr Sounds like he already sold the ring, and the new owner is trying to turn a profit...:thumb:
March 7, 200818 yr Are there two rings? One from the NCAA and one from the school? Shirley that's not what the UK basketball program gave out...
March 7, 200818 yr Are there two rings? One from the NCAA and one from the school? Shirley that's not what the UK basketball program gave out... That's what I'm thinking, because for a 1998 ring, that is TERRIBLE!
March 7, 200818 yr That's what I'm thinking, because for a 1998 ring, that is TERRIBLE! Pretty sure that's right. That is the NCAA ring, not the schools.
March 7, 200818 yr Either he sold it to the guy that has the listing or this guy is listing it for him.
March 7, 200818 yr Well, to have the ring in the first place is more than I'll probably ever accomplish in my life, so it's hard for me to feel sorry for the guy......one ring to bind them. Sorry couldn't resist.
March 7, 200818 yr Prediction: A handful of UK fans with more money than good sense will bid each other up into the $10K neighborhood. Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if it went as high as $20K. Why would they do that, they can buy it NOW with $4,500.
March 8, 200818 yr Actually Wayne Turner is not selling it, another man has it for sale. Not for sure how the guy ended up with it, but he is the one selling the ring!
March 8, 200818 yr Are there two rings? One from the NCAA and one from the school? Shirley that's not what the UK basketball program gave out... Surely you didn't call me Shirley!
