March 5, 200818 yr Woodson has good showing at UK's Pro Day Stevie Johnson improved his Combine 40 by running a 4.46. Derrick Locke also ran a 4.21 and Alphonso Smith ran a 4.24 as some underclassmen worked out as well.
March 5, 200818 yr Were all scores hand timed? I know Locke's and Smith's were, I don't know about the guys who were on display for scouts.
March 5, 200818 yr Woodson ran a 4.8 40? If that's hand timed it's a little slower than I would have guessed. I know he's not in perfect condition.
March 6, 200818 yr Woodson ran a 4.8 40? If that's hand timed it's a little slower than I would have guessed. I know he's not in perfect condition. He's battling a hamstring injury, 4.8 isn't bad.
March 6, 200818 yr He's battling a hamstring injury, 4.8 isn't bad.I thought he was further along than that, because if it was hand timed, it's not really 4.8. And, again, anyone know? If it was, 4.8 is probably more like 4.95.
March 6, 200818 yr Woodson looked plenty fast enough to be an NFL QB to me. The numbers Tamme put up at the combine can only help his stock go up. He should go first day.
March 6, 200818 yr If you guys dont think Locke and Smith can run in the 4.2's you are fooling yourselves.
March 6, 200818 yr Isn't the standad difference between hand held and digitial timing .15? Locke is still kicking it if so.
March 6, 200818 yr I just cant see Smith running a 4.2. Maybe Locke. When I think of 4.2 speed I think of Ted Ginn and Primetime... I don't think Smith (or Locke) has the same class of speed as those two.
