February 29, 200818 yr Author As far as the NL central goes I think the Cubs are getting way too much hype from ESPN and other media! Anybody else think the Cubs are overhyped?
February 29, 200818 yr 82 wins. And how do you see that stacking up in the NL Central? Bunched in with 2 or 3 other teams but not in first place.

March 2, 200818 yr Where have you been? The Reds have been sad for going on 20 years. Can't remember the 90's being this bad....
March 2, 200818 yr Cordero makes a huge difference! How many games were blown by the pen especially early in the year? Cordero is a top 5 closer moving a very sold weathers into a set up role. I think this move and the possible addition of some young arms like volquez and roenicke could make this one of the better bullpens in the nl. If this holds true the reds could easily be the class of a very weak nl central, and as the rockies proved last year, all you have to do is get there and be hot at the right time. (Arizona will be pretty good though with 1-Webb 2-Haren 3-R. Johnson)
March 2, 200818 yr It's pretty much a lock that Keppy will be our opening day SS. Is that only because Gonzo is hurt...?
