Boys teams with a LEGITIMATE shot to win it all!

Featured Replies

Why is there so much talk about Boone, Cov. Cath, Adair, etc? Check the title of the thread. If we arent talking about someone from the 11th, Mason Co., UHA, Holmes, or a couple of the Louisville teams then there is nothing to talk about.

Those are the best teams but someones got to some out of the bottom (unless we are putting Mason in the finals). Of course the 5th 9th matchup is in the top bracket but a team in the bottom such as Hazard is now in the conversation because of the very weak bottom bracket.

If those teams are on the list, then so is CovCath.

You know what cch5432,before I even read your post I was wondering how I forgot CovCath and was about to edit my post but you beat me to it. It will be awfully tough to get past Holmes but then again it will be awfully tough to get past CovCath as well now that I think of it. They have a really good team and I love the way the Grimes kid plays. He is imo one of the states most underrated players.

I dont think so. Maybe if the thread was a legitimate shot to make it to the finals, but it is a legitimate shot to win it all. The only team out of the bottom with a chance is Mason.

CovCath beat LexCath (a contender) and gave Mason all they can handle (kind of :p). They have as good of a shot as anyone.

Is Cov Cath healthy? I saw them in the fifth third and they looked good agaisnt Elliott but they had a kid get hurt pretty bad in that tournament. I know they played well early on so I didn't know I don't know if they had injuries or just peaked early because they went on a skid a few weeks ago.

Of the 9th region teams, as good as Highlands and CCH are, Holmes has the best shot at winning it all. They have the depth that is needed to play that amount of games in such little amount of days and also are probably the state's top defensive team as well as one of the most athletic.

The Sweet Sixteen is Mason County to lost! The EZ road to the finals in history! 11 region the hardest in history!:flame:

The 11th is just so tough. The winner of this region should be the favorite to win it all because they have already beaten the best comeptition in the state. In todays paper the top 3 teams were all out of the 11th. If anyone but Mason Co or someone from the 11th wins i will be incredibly suprised.

Out of the teams you mentioned the only one I disagree with is CovCath. I don't believe they will win it all, but I think have a small shot. They maybe better than Holmes.

Also, I don't think Adair Co. has a shot, but they do have Sweet 16 experience having won a game last year.

You say small. Would you call that LEGITIMATE?

After the way Madison Central played against Scott County last night, I wouldn't count them out of the 11th, especially with their 1st game at home, and EKU is in Richmond also.

No chance.

CC has no chance. Sorry, nice avatar, no chance though.
