UH is 3-0 vs 11th region teams (Adair County, Madision Central, and Tates Creek).

Whether it be Holmes, Covcath, or Highlands that makes it from the 9th, IMO we'll be seeing them in the semi's against the 11th region champ.

As much as I would like to agree with this, I just don't see it. IMO...Holmes is the only Team in the 9th, that can go down there and actually do damage. That's if they get out of the 9th...If not, I will root for whoever represents the region, but I would think 1 and done.

I disagree, I don't think Cov. Cath will, but With McGraw and Simpson in the same backcourt, they would make some noise in the sweet 16.

Mason County will be there when the smoke clears!!

You still have to get out of the 10th first!:thumb:

Covcath has already beaten the best team in the 5th region, Adair County. Even if Holmes or Highlands doesn't get out of the region, CCH would win atleast one game down there.

I think Highlands and Holmes would have the better shot at making it to the semi's, with Holmes having the best shot since they have the most depth.

Bardstown just beat Adair, and I believe it was by double digits. I wouldnt count Bardstown out of that region just yet.

Lex Cath, Scott Co, Mason Co, and Bryan Station are the only teams that i think have really good odds to win it. Other teams wouuldnt be fav. they may have a shot but these 4 are head and shoulders above the rest of the state.

Adair has not played CovCath. Boone Co. is the only team from the 9th that Adair has played. They played Boone in London at Christmas and were beaten by the Rebels.

Obviously the winner should probably come from the 11th, 7th, or Mason, But for some feeling I think its about time for a darkhorse winner. It seems to happen every 7-8 years or so and that time is coming around again. ;)

Who might be the darkhouse in your opinion?

My mistake, Covcath beat Elliot. Boone is the #4 team in the 9th though. Regardless of whether it be Bardstown or Adair that comes out of the 5th, I don't see the 5th region competing with Holmes, Highlands, or Covcath.

I think whether it be Bardstown or Adair, neither will beat the 9th champion.
