I'm sure Joes "Little Buddy" did all he could for him but I would have to agree that along with the historical significance that Joe Nuxhall has to the game of baseball and the overwhelming support by the fans how the Old Lefthander was passed over this time is as others have said a travesty. Dear God how I'm going to miss hearing that great call of his of another hit into Right Left centerfield. R.I.P. Joe. We will get you there sooner or later..:cry::cry::cry:

I helped you out, since your original titlle was outdated. But this really was a poor choice. For all the flowery comments that were made about the Niehaus guy, I could list just as many, if not more, about Joe. A very, very bad decision here.

Absolutely pathetic choice! :irked: I suppose you've listened to a few Mariners' games to know what you're talking about? Or are you just upset that Nuxhall wasn't inducted ASAP? Dave Niehaus is second only to Ken Griffey Jr. to baseball fans in Seattle. An absolutely great choice, other than the fact that it wasn't The Old Lefthander.

February 19, 200818 yr I think you guys are doing a real disservice to a great broadcaster that got the nod. I loved Joe as much as the next guy, and instantly shed a few tears when I heard that he passed. But let's keep it in perspective and hope he gets the nod next time...
