For example, as a "child of the 80's" I'd list (among others): The Breakfast Club Pretty in Pink St. Elmo's Fire Flash Dance Dirty Dancing Pretty Woman Back to the Future Ghost Busters 9-5 Top Gun An Officer and a Gentleman Risky Business Fast Times at Ridgemont High Anyway...what do you consider the "classics" of your time? An Officer and a Gentleman is one of my favorite movies of all time...I went to see it at the Movie Theater my senior year of Highschool-82/83...

I will list my Top 10. 1.The Godfather 2.The Deer Hunter 3.Apocalyspe Now 4.Jaws 5.The Godfather Part II 6.Close Encounters Of The Third Kind 7.Network 8.The Last Picture Show 9.Manhatten 10.Rocky BTW, this list would be different next week.
February 14, 200818 yr The movies from my teen and college years (from about '66 through '76) that I consider classics are: The Graduate In the Heat of The Night Bonnie and Clyde Patton The Sting Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid M*A*S*H* The French Connection The Conversation The Flim Flam Man (made in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky) Cool Hand Luke American Graffiti The Godfather The Godfather II The Exorcist (Scariest movie ever, imo) The Wild Bunch I'm sure I'm forgetting some other great films that I enjoyed during that era. I watch any of these everytime they're on TV.
