I would have to take Trinity 35 Highlands 7. I know the Highlands faithful wanted to hear us say that Highlands would win the game. Going undefeated is a great accomplishment. Now just be glad that you did not play Trinity because you may not have been the only undefeated team.

Good shot that its Withrow but I don't know for sure. Withrow has been over quite a few times. They have some very, very good athletes and players.

Any idea on the date? That sounds like a great day to take in some 7 on 7 and make leatherneck buy me lunch.

My take on the mythical 2007 Trinity/Highlands game is that the game would be very close. Highlands strength is obviously their defense and they can keep the game close by excellent preparation, scouting, and the proper scheme.

 

I feel Trinity would be most uncomfortable in a close, low scoring game and that would play into Highland's hands.

 

I am not sure that Highlands would beat Trinity, but I could certainly see a very close ballgame. The 2007 edition of the Ft. Thomas Highlands Bluebirds have the proper ingredients to be most competitive with Trinity who has huge advantage in numbers.

Sorry Trinity fans, but I watched the tape of the Trinity BG game and a very average BG offense absolutely rolled on the Rocks. If BG can score almost at will, what do you think the Birds offense would have done? Plus, BG's defense was in no way comparable to the Birds defense. Birds by 10 in this hypothetical matchup!

You seem pretty confident that HHS would really struggle against Trinity. What specifically do you see, as far as mismatches in favor of Trinity go, that would lead to a 3-TD win for Trinity?
