^ with the way the scheduling is now, I would like for us to play them in the last regular season game, what a great way to get ready for the playoffs.

 

I agree, after going through our district it is nice to get a test before the playoffs.

I do expect Coach Jackson being able to make a big difference at Ballard but I expect it to take some time before he gets his system implemented.

Trinity and Highlands are playing some 7 on 7 this spring at Ft. Thomas.

^ He may be, but I wouldn't bet on it. There is a scheduling conflict with how early we can play.

Won't happen...why would a smaller, and often playoff bound, team risk playing a huge, often playoff bound team, right before the playoffs? The injury factor would loom too large. Would rather play EARLY...see what weaknesses get exposed and have the rest of the season to correct/heal. HHS could beat Trinity/X once every 5 years or so...'07 would have been one of those years! (IMHO).

I don't think playing X in week 10 impacted the post season results for the Colonels one way or the other. Getting to the second round of the playoffs was about as far as last years team was going to get. In fact, many didn't think they would get that far.
