Shaq For Marion Trade In The Works?

The Suns window is closing. Having Shaq, who when healthy, will demand a double team, opens the paint up for Amare. This also moves Amare over to his natural position of PF instead of the 5 spot. It might work...

That's the point. They (Steve Kerr) don't think they can win playing this style in the playoffs--mainly because they haven't gotten anywhere doing it. Also, it's a reaction to the Lakers (and a healthy Andrew Bynum) beating them twice earlier this season and the addition of Gasol.

For the record, I don't like it...for the Suns.

Hmmm, Well I'm sure if it does get finalized then there will be more in the trade.

There is one other player that the Heat would get but I forget who it was. Nobody too important.

This would be a stupid trade for the suns. They like to push the ball and I don't see shaq starting to run like a gazelle anytime soon.

Marcus Banks.

Suns are going to trade 2 players for SHAQ? And they're gonna give up Marion. Crazy. Shouldn't happen.

A guy on espn said that Shaq is going to Phoenix tomorrow morning and unless he doesnt pass the physical he will be a Sun.

Great for Heat, horrible horrible for the Suns.

The SUNS get the inside "D" they desire out West w/Shaq. At this point in his career and w/the rings he has, I am betting that Shaq will take the lesser role in the offense. It moves Amare Stoudamire to the PF spot where he will flourish even more.

Shaq also brings a ton of experience and is playoff proven. I know Shaq has been injured, but he has to pass a physical and if he does he is a SUN according to ESPN's Ric Bucher. I do not think it is a terrible trade for either. If the HEAT can sign Marion then they have a nice duo in Wade and Marion.

One report said that the Suns are looking to improve "chemistry" in the lockerroom.

The way that ESPN is talking about this trade deal, then it's going to happen. They sounded pretty sure of it.

Shaq as far as I have always known or read has always been a great guy in the locker room.

I know he and Kobe had their issues while together in L.A. However, I do not recall ever hearing anything else negative about Shaq and the locker room.

The constant trade rumors involving Marion would have to be getting old for both him and the team, one would think!!!!
