February 5, 200818 yr New England. Maybe not the deal he is looking for, but for once he seemed like a good teammate and somewhat enjoyed himself. He and Brady appear to mesh well.
February 5, 200818 yr If you were Moss, why would you not want Brady, throwing TD's to you. Is the Patriots management, considering not signing him for salary reason?
February 5, 200818 yr Moss and Asante Samuel are both free agents that could get big paydays...and NE supposedly can't afford both.
February 5, 200818 yr Moss is going to get paid big time after the season he just had. I really dont think New England will be the team that dishes out a huge deal. They have too much to worry about at linebacker and in the secondary. If they can get a good young LB and something else in a trade for Moss and sign Asante Samuel to a longterm deal, I think they will.
February 5, 200818 yr Moss needs NE as bad as NE needs Moss.... They Would be crazy to part with each other... If Randys Going for A RING he would be better off in New England... Miami's Just not going to be there anytime soon...
February 5, 200818 yr Right where he is. He's on a good team, and he's been successful in staying out of trouble (until recently), and he'll be getting paid very well, too. And this his probably his best chance of making several trips to the Super Bowl, and maybe even winning a few more.
February 5, 200818 yr It will be New England. The only other place I could see him at maybe would be the Packers. I know Favre really wanted him there last year, and if he went to the Packers he still would have a great shot for a super bowl...
February 6, 200818 yr He's staying in New England with the franchise tag. :thumb: I was going to ask if there was some rule about whether they could tag him or not since he's only been there one year. If there isn't, then at the least they'll keep him with a franchise tag. I certainly think they'll explore the option of signing him long term, but it's going to depend on how much money Moss wants. They already agreed that they wouldn't tag Samuel again. I'd say the chances of him remaining in New England are slim to none. I don't see them breaking the back for a DB. They didn't for Ty Law, they won't for Asante Samuel.
