I would not do it either! I have been in business for a long time and I have turned people away for job's that had pierced ring's. I was interviewing a young man for a nice job one day and he had to talk with customer's on the telephone, he had his tung pierced and I could hardly understand a word he said. He was not hired and I know some people will say it is not fair however, this is the real world and for someone like yourself going to school you may want to think twice. It is always very unattractive on girls, so if you're a girl definitely don't do it, and if you're a guy... still don't do it.

I have always wanted to get a piercing done. I dont drink, smoke, or any of that other stuff, so this is my one bad boy type thing. Even though it is very cliche. If I do it, it will be kept in college(which I am now), taken out for interviews and if need be taken out forever when it comes down to med school.

If you want a GOOD job down the road, keep in mind that most people who interview are middle class, conservative people. Lip/tongue/nose piercings and tatoos are a definate disadvantages.

Yea I wouldn't do it myself, perhaps you should invest in a cool motorcycle jacket, save up and get a nice hog to go along with it. It worked for the Fonz.
