February 4, 200818 yr I enjoy Garth Brooks songs so very much. What is his best song to you? The River, Standing Outside the Fire, and Unanswered Prayers are my favorites. I especially enjoy the "life lessons" that can be learned from these songs.

He has great taste! Especially since he's been borrowing my CDs the last few years. I will confess that a Christmas ritual has developed the last couple years with the old man going with me to the used CD store so I can load him up with bargain buys. He pulled out an Eagles CD, and I declined, saying, "I can't, in good conscience, buy you something so awful. And I don't recommend you spending your own money on it either." And I think I got him a Flying Burrito Brothers CD to show him who the Eagles ripped off their style from.
