Congrats Clay!

A Racer, how fitting. Congrats Clay!

A well deserved scholarship, Congrats Clay!

Congrats Mr Cecil and Good Luck at the next level !:thumb:

You deserve all you get young man, congratulations and make Northern Ky proud!!

Congrats to Clay Cecil and the best of luck to him. I am sure he will do great things.

Murray has just improved by leaps and bounds! Great Job Clay!

Football was not the only deciding factor to accept a scholarship to Murray State. Clay was very impressed by the coach and the way he was treated during his visit. He knows the Racers had a rough year last year but they are a young team with alot of talent coming back.

Clay felt that the Engineering progams offered by Murray were a bit more challenging or better suited for him than some of the other schools. He's looking forward to playing football but he also is looking forward to becoming an engineer. Not bad for a kid that only scored a 31 on his ACT.

He still should have went to Centre:D

Centre is a great school but rumor has it you have to be the son of an attorney or doctor to survive the tuition!!!

Being a pipefitter doesn't hurt either.

Murray is loaded at QB and they are all young, bout the only position they have any depth at, one of the QB's is that kid from O' Cath that went to Marshall originally

And he (Barnard) is not going to be seeing the field much anymore.

Ehrahdt ended up being the #1 QB for the Racers and he really started turning it on by the end of the year and was actually named Freshman of the Year in the OVC.

They are looking at Cecil as an OLB. They plan to get the guy up to 200lbs. :thumb:

Murray St. is in Div I AA non-scholarship level like the University of Dayton, I believe.

MSU is in the OVC. They have athletic scholarships unlike Morehead and Dayton for football. Those 2 play in the Pioneer League in the 1-AA Non-Scholarship division.
