I haven't a clue. However, I don't think it would be due to him being upset with the school or the program.

I am like most on this thread and say that this region is Greenup's to lose.

Having said that and not posting just as a "homer" no one should overlook Raceland, imo they will have a very good season, the Rams imo have pitching depth and one of the best hitters in the region in J.S. Carver, others on this team can hit the ball as well.

As always, Boyd will also be a big factor, they have one heck of a program and can never be counted out. Russell, Ashland, Rowan, East all have stepped up in most years with a very good team.

I believe this will be a very good season in the 16th, GCHS stands out as the favorite and there are several teams imo that will be pretty good and will provide a tough challenge for the Muskies.

Who all does raceland have on the mound. I thought they only returned one pitcher from last year, being Josh Wilson. Hes a good pitcher and can win alot of games this year. Also, dont forget Martin hitting. I think he is the 2nd best hitter in the region. I think the Rams will be one of the best offensive teams in the region this year.

East Carter beat Greenup both times last year. I can't remember who pitch for either team.

The first game it was Eddie Seagraves for East and maybe Scaggs for Greenup. The second time it was Hieneman for GC and Ryan Knipp for East. East has all their pitching back from last season.

Yes they did; both teams returning alot of starters, should be an interesting season!

Both games could have went either way. Two years ago they played two 1-run ballgames, and the year before that the same thing I think.

This region will be Greenups to loose. I don't get where you say Raceland has pitching depth. They may have throwing depth, but they certainly do not have pitching depth. They only have one kid who can beat a really good team, and that is Wilson, and he as yet hasn't shown that he can win the big game at Raceland. I hope I am wrong I am definitely a Raceland fan, but I definitely do not see the pitching depth that you are talking about.

Bass master; You must not attend very many Ram games The Wilson kid has pitched on the Varisity team since the 7th grade all the way thru and has pitched in key District games every year since I have been following and from what I hear he does very well during summer and fall ball as well. I was told from a coach that he has a Junior Legion STATE championship with 2 wins in the State Tournment as well , so how can you say that he has not shown it?

Mr. pickoff....I have had a child on the team since 2002. I know for a fact Mr. wilson has not been pitching for the varsity since he was in the 7th grade. And just like I said, I have heard that he done well in summer ball, but the fact still remains.....It hasn't happened at Raceland yet, and yes I am at all of the games and I have considerable knowledge of the game of baseball. You say from what you have heard he has done well....Maybe it is you who hasn't been to many games. As far as Raceland goes I don't have to hear, because I am their watching. And as I have stated in a seperate post I'm not bashing the kid I'm just simply stating that he is going to have to be the man this year if we are to have any hope of beating Greenup in the district assuming we draw them.
