I was talking about them getting out out of the district not the entire season.

Lets not forget about the first 90% of the football season as well, actually we have not done much in any sport outside of baseball and golf in about three years.

I apologize for my comments if they seem harsh, I am just so passionate about the game of baseball and being a part of a Greenup's baseball program is just embedded in me, I know that anyone can get beat on any given day, because baseball is an absolutely crazy game, believe me I know its anyones ball game.

Yes it is necessary because GCHS fans should be able to feel good about all their sports and not just BASEBALL.

I agree 95%. I think that Hardin with his pitching and James playing the outfield they would be up with the "SS" by the begining of the 08 season. Playing varsity ball will definently help the two. I also think they will contribute this year maybe in the district tourney maybe in regionals, it will be exciting to see them get the chance to contribute.

There is just so much talent in Greenup it is going to be hard for every young player coming up to get a lot of playing time. But it just depends on who works the hardest and shows Coach Logan they can help the team the most.

I would agree. I think Hardin will see some innings in relief, but just no starts this year. Greenup is a young team as they have many juniors and sohpomores who will be seeing the field everyday, so it will be hard for some of these younger players to see varsity time. But i see a bright future at Greenup for the next couple of years!

Coach Logan will put the best team on the field come District time regardless of Class level. Regular season he will experiment to see what he has on the team.

I dont think they will. I think Coach Logan will save him for the regional tournament against them so they would not have seen him this year and would have to adjust. I think the same for Boyd. Greenup will probably not see Helms in regular season games.

That's assuming Boyd and Greenup even make it to face each other. It might be Greenup's to lose, but if you ask me, the Region could be as wide open as its ever been. East Carter has two really good pitchers in Seagraves and Sagraves, so they could knock one of those teams out early. And if Raceland plays up to their capability, they will be tough to win against as well. Ashland is always a question mark, even though they usually have the talent.
