Ashland usually has one or two good golfers, will that be true this year?

I do not know Danis so i am sorry for leaving him out of this. I am a member at River Bend (Abdons home course) and have played a lot of golf with Dagan. I have never been more impressed by the talent of an individual, if he can keep his head on straight he will be fine. I have played with Jared a few times and he is a great golfer, and you will never meet a better kid.

Thats a good idea, my college had one every year it seemed to do well. We also had a home run derby (where both the players and fans played), and a bucket throw from center field. We charged like $5 for it and then if you won you split the pot, usually made us an easy $30-$50.

Are you sure? Raceland wins over Lewis and win district. Hope I am wrong though.

Those do sell well. I know Greenup had a few nights last year like alumni night, teacher night, and veterans night. It seemed that most of the big crowds where on those nights.

I do not mean this to sound like I am trying to insult u Springsteen I am just wondering. How long has Hoof been coaching? How many regional championships does he have (in baseball only)?

I know of several players that are playing at the high school varsity level that played in Greysbrach AABC and BC AABC league.

Its to hard to watch a college player play all the way through, my parents came to about every high school and summer baseball game I was ever involved in. However, I got the chance to play baseball in college and they did not get to come near as much, not because they did not want to it was simply because they were getting older and its not easy to travel to keep up with a college baseball team. So I think Mr. Logan would stay with Greenup.

He always finds a way to win big with his teams, when he coached "B-Minor" his team won the league both years, then he created the Yankees and won I think three state championships with them. Then takes a high school team that was under .500 the year before and takes them to the state tournament, solid if u ask me.

Was it Zach Cox that hit the absolute BOMB against Greenup last year at the state tournament. I heard it was every bit of 450 ft.

You said he pitched in Key District Games every year? I may be wrong but I thought it was Grizzle and Thompson that threw against Greenup last year.

I know a few people who have played under Mr. Lewis, even though i do not know him personally I would actually agree with both arguments. He is not the most intelligent "baseball" man to ever live, however he does seem to get a good percentage of his players into college. In my opinion he should step down as a coach and let someone else take care of the baseball part of the job, but he should stay as a part of the team by getting people college looks. Also, I attended most of the American Legion State Tournament when it was held in Ashland last year and I heard some very inappropriate things come from that side of the dugout, so if he is going to remain as coach he needs to at least get some order on his team.

I am sorry for the comment it was a bad thing to say, I meant it to be simply that GCHS pitching staff would be the best in the region due to the weakness of the other teams staffs being down this year. However, there is a good chance that another team will be strong this year, so to those that I offened I am sorry.

Probably so, No disrespect to any other teams but Greenup does not have much competition.

.300 is a good average but in high school I think it should be around .350

Greenup's weakness is also pitching. Seems to be a trend in the 16th.

From what I hear the Administration almost make it impossible for a coach to WANT TO STAY. However, I know Greg and he will not be ran over.
