No sir I don't. I do remember him pitching a little bit his freshmen year. I think he was thrown into a season opening game against East not last year but the year before. I think we got mercy ruled 14-0. which in my opinion was not his fault. 1) he should not have been throwing that game as a freshmen.2) the umpire had a strikezone as big as a thimble. and 3) The team did not produce hardly anything as far as runs or hits.

Bass master; You must not attend very many Ram games The Wilson kid has pitched on the Varisity team since the 7th grade all the way thru and has pitched in key District games every year since I have been following and from what I hear he does very well during summer and fall ball as well. I was told from a coach that he has a Junior Legion STATE championship with 2 wins in the State Tournment as well , so how can you say that he has not shown it?

 

You said he pitched in Key District Games every year? I may be wrong but I thought it was Grizzle and Thompson that threw against Greenup last year.

I remember the game you are talking about, I believe Grizzle started on the hill against East and by the time Wilson came in it was like 10-0. He didn't have much of a chance, and I believe Ryan Sagraves 1-hit the Rams, so I agree their wasn't much offense on their side. Wilson has a chance to be pretty good, not sure he is the kind of pitcher capable of being a #1 and shutting teams down, but still very effective.

He pitched both 2 years that Ramsy was pitching coach and Drew has been pitching coach this is his third year so that would have been his 7th grade year and 8th grade year 2004 and 2005 against Fairview!As far as Greenup last year Grizzle started followed by Phillips then Wilson in the Last 2 innings I think!

I do know that Raceland used Grizzle,N.Reynolds,Phillips, and Morris as their pitchers the last 4 years. I know because my son was playing and I didnt miss a game. Wilson and S. Reynolds will have to carry the load this year. Hitting wont be as strong as the past few years there.
