January 21, 200818 yr I don't know I hope your right...he is good for football but at some point he has to leave it on the field. It is so hard getting back to that NFC champ game. He got most of his records this year... I dont know. I feel the same way as you do basically. Brett Favre is my favorite NL player, quite possibly my favorite all time player. He. like you said is good for the game. he man goes all out 110% of the time that he is opn the field, leaves it all out on the field every time out. Not many at all can have that said about them. Favre is also all class with the way that he carries himself that way on and off the field. Definately one of the toughest competitors that I have ever watched. I hope ol' #4 comes back but would not blame him if he hangs em' up. Brett Favre has nothing to prove to anyone. IMO one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game if not the greatest.

January 21, 200818 yr I don't care if he hates the Giants. I like it. I want him to hate the Giants. It makes me happy that he hates the Giants. :thumb: O.K., I know what you mean. I feel the same way when all of the N.Y. Yankee, Ohio State Football haters along with U.K. haters start. I love it. IMO it gets you even more "jacked up" and it just tells me that these teams have gotten into their heads a little.

January 21, 200818 yr Here is the real reason why the Giants won today: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7698172?MSNHPHCP>1=10838 I posted that article in the Giants/Packers pre-game thread. Pretty funny.
January 21, 200818 yr I was shocked by this one. In fact, I was one that would have picked against the Giants in every game over the last 4 weeks. Eli really "came of age" during this run and has impressed a lot of people. Congrats to the Giants and especially to our local G-Man. And incredible run on the road (10 straigt is unbelieveable) and through the play-offs. Wow!
January 21, 200818 yr I was not surprised as NY and Eli have won 10 straight road games. I was really happy for Eli and now he will be his own man and not just Peytons little brother. I am also very happy for Jared Lorenzen even though he does not play at least he can always say he was a back up QB for a Super Bowl Team. Good Luck New York. JD
January 21, 200818 yr I have to admit, Eli is playing great right now, maybe just maybe he has turned the corner and is getting closer to the level of Payton, and how proud must Archie be? Both his sons in back 2 back super bowls?

Something like this..."You think that if the Giants win in Dallas, they're going to go to Lambeau Field for the NFC Championship and beat Brett Favre." At least similar to that...:banana:
