Nice job by the Giants. I have to give their secondary a lot of credit...they played great and I wasn't sure that they could or would. The only reason anyone is surprised that the Giants are in the Super Bowl is because they were like DragonFire and didn't think Eli could string together that many solid performances...given his career, I'd say that's a fair assessment. But, if you look at the rest of their team, particularly the strong rushing attack and the great front four, it shouldn't be a surprise that they won the NFC.

Congratulations to the Giants for getting it done...I think I feel best for Coughlin and Tynes...I would have had some serious pity for Lawrence Tynes had the Giants lost that game...and Coughlin, he's took a lot of heat in NY. Also, I hope his face is OK for the Super Bowl...

What was it? Something like this..."You think that if the Giants win in Dallas, they're going to go to Lambeau Field for the NFC Championship and beat Brett Favre."

At least similar to that...:banana::banana:

Who said...oh, yeah...it was something like that..:sssh:

Hey, like I said, I'm impressed. I never thought they could do it but they deserve a lot of credit for pulling it off. And Eli has proven himself to a lot of people, too (zero turnovers in three playoff games is impressive).

What do you want me to do...drive to the airport and give them a ride home? ;)

Anyone who can blame the PACKERS loss on Brett Favre doesn't really know to much about football. No one play determines or affects a game, it takes multiple plays and all the little things involved in the game.

Without Favre this team isn't even in the NFC Conference finals and possibly not in the playoffs.

How about the missed tackles in the backfield by AJ Hawk that would have made the Giants kick the ball in regulation instead of going for the go-ahead FG? There would have been enough time left for the Packers to move the ball into FG range. Don't want to single out Mr. Hawk, but he had the RB's stopped a couple of times in the backfield. One play doesn't make or break a game, remember that.

Doesn't matter, the fact that you're dead wrong is enough for me. :D

You have no way of proving that anyone is right or "dead wrong". Thanks, but try again.

Neutral corners, guys.

Birdsfan,

Eddie Murphy predicted this Giants win over the Packers!

"Sir, I was wondering did you happen to catch the professional football contest on television last night?"

"Son, I'm just gonna tell ya' this one time. It you want to keep posting here, stay off the Youtube." :D

I honestly didn't care which team won the game, but towards the end of regulation and into OT I really pulled for GB. What a better way to ride off into the sunset, winning your 2nd SB ring while defeating the GOAT.

Everyone wanted Favre to ride off in to the sunset, but what about Strahan? He's a future hall of famer who doesn't have a super bowl ring. He needs to ride off into the sun set with a win over the "GOAT".

The Packers lost =

Favre is coming back = :D

You have no way of proving most the things you say, since it doesn't stop you...

I don't tell someone that they're dead wrong...

But once again this is not about you and I anymore.

Then stop quoting me if you don't want it to be about you and me. :D :thumb:

I only tell people that when they are. :walk:
