BigMac Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Gardner Webb is Division 1AA. Former UK/Danville Player Chase Harp coaches at Gardner Webb and is probably the coach that is recruiting Cecil. Could anybody close to the situation verify that for us?

Watusi Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 That's great, congrats to Clay. I'm glad he has the opportunity to play in college. I only saw HHS play once this year, but it was worth the price of admission. They were a fine team, and had many fine athletes, but for my money, Cecil stood out as the straw that stirred the drink. He was a lot of fun to watch that day in Louisville.
cshs81 Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 Clay is one of those kids that when some GW fan asks "where will he play" the coach responds "We'll figure that out when he gets here. We just want him here first."
BH53 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Congrats to Mr. Cecil. To get an offer from a college sport is quite an accomplishment. Very well deserved.
FamilyTradition Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Congrat's to Clay for a well deserved offer to continue his football career. Besides being a great athlete he is even a better person!
