Can Raceland give Elliot County a run for their money in the all 'A'

Featured Replies

They actually only have one lung each but they are interconnected between all 10 players and when the guys who are in the game get tired someone on the bench starts breathing for them. THAT is called teamwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ylsuper::thumb::laugh::bunny::fire::dancingpa

I dont never underestimate my opponent and I fear Raceland on Saturday! Will they beat Elliott.....maybe not ....i hope not. Can they beat Elliott..... Yes!!!

Bottomline is Elliott County is the best in the 16th and no one is gonna stop them in the 16th.

Thats a big NEGATIVE...................The only chance would be if Elliotts bus breaks down and they cant make it there.............

Lurch, Uncle Fester, and Cousin It all agree: NO............

If any of you really believe that Raceland can defeat Elliott or even stay within 20 points of them, I'd love to get in on some of that action. They could have Robert Montgomery Knight coaching them and it wouldn't be close. Unless, like someone said earlier, the bus breaks down and Elliott doesn't make the game.

All kidding aside, besides saying coach Floyd will have them prepared, what matchups favor the rams, individually or teamwise? Is there anything you can point out that would make me think they even have a chance to stay in the game, much less defeat Elliott? I just don't see it right now. But make me believe. I would like to see another team in the 16th be able to play with them, but I've seen just about everyone this year and I haven't seen anyone that's close.

NOW that is FUNNY Realy Funny thnaks for the :lol::lol:

Is Elliott the best team in the 16th? YES. That is an undeniable fact.

Can they be beaten by an in region opponet...YES. that is an undeniable fact.

Elliott is one of the top teams in the state, but no team in invincible, well maybe the 1992 Dream team, but no high school team. It's not like Raceland, or Fairview or Bath are 5th grade teams. All are nice teams, and if Elliott is overlooking them they CAN be beaten. It will not be easy or even likely, but it is possible, if Elliott doesn't believe that they may stumble somewhere down the road.

That said, I think if Elliott takes care of business they are 20 points better than any other team in this region, just about any night of the week. I would advise Elliott fans to quiet the unstoppable talk, the only thing it could do is get in your own players heads. I dont know the boys, but remember they are kids, so i would want to keep them thinking that teams can beat them, rather then just saying how unbeatable they are and no one can touch them. By all means, Elliott should be in the State Tournament this year and make a nice run, but NOTHING is guaranteed.

Anyone can be beat on any given night, well said Cats.

Raceland will not beat Elliott. They will try to put pressure on Elliott until Floyd realizes they can't. They will play half court defense, try to limit shots and will try to get out and guard the 3's but won't be able IMO. I don't think that the Rams can handle the pressure of Elliott. I wish them well, but don't think it will happen.

I I haven't saw but maybe one real Elliott fan on here say they were unstoppable!!!!!! After following the boysfor about 9 years(real fan) I dont think they think they are unstoppable!! If someone in the region does get them it will not be because they underestimated them!! I myself am nervous about Saturday's game as I said in a prev. post!!!!:scared:

The Elliott County fans who have posted are not the ones saying they are unbeatable. Those boys realize upsets happen every day. When they were younger, they pulled off a few themselves.

I think the only way they lose to anyone in the 16th, will be if the game is called very very very tight!

Rose Hill has played the strongest schedule in the 16th(IMO) which will make them very tournament ready.
