Deuce41
Jackson County rode the play of the Brumback to the victory over the Colonels. He is a very solid player with a nice set of offensive moves, and the offensive really is set up to put him in a position to score and he delivers for the Generals more times than not. Whitley played hard and well at times but Jackson had the answers every time Whitley made a run. Whitley had the Jackson lead to 2 with about a minute to go but could not get the score they needed to when they needed. Free throws widened the margin and made it look worse than what it was. Both teams played really hard and you had to be impressed with the Colonels who were facing a team with ten seniors while they only had one. I think that this was a game that showed that on a given night the young Colonels can compete with most everyone in the region but there is still some work to be done. The Breeze
The Colonels have came along way the last two years to just be in games like this much less have a chance to win. Jackson Co. is a quality team and Brumback is a tough match up for anyone in the 13th.
