The only difference was with Pitino a player like Perry would have never got to see the court till his junior or senior seasons, and would have only been a 8 to 12 minute guy. However since the rest of the recruiting class he was in was terrible, and then the 05 class being terrible as well, it made him play alot more than he probably should have had to. So yeah he did belong at UK (and this is for you original rookie)...
January 1, 200818 yr Author Are you confusing Perry with She-Ray Thomas? Nope not at all. Perry on here got blasted all the time. But when Perry started to do a little something, then Thomas started to be the one taking stuff from people on here. I know I heard NUMEROUS of times people saying they couldn't wait for the day when Perry was not in a UK uniform anymore. So that is why I just asking those people now, if they would atleast rather have him over anyone else that we have down low besides Patterson...

Or maybe its just because I couldnt follow what you were saying. One of the two.

January 2, 200818 yr No. Perry has used up all of his eligibility, and if UK were to play him now they would be in trouble with the NCAA for using an ineligible player.

My point is, for so long people use to always be on him and say how they could not wait for the day he graduated, and how things would be better when he was not wearing the UK uniform anymore. Yet however the players we have replaced him with this year or even worse, and probably will be still worse next year since Billy G. failed to bring any other big man in as well so far...I just find it funny that so many people hated him and wanted him gone, and now that he is. We have actually gotten worst at that position.

January 3, 200818 yr Interesting this comes up as a saw BP at Sam's in Nashville right before the game. That being said, there are a lot of people we would bring back if we could. It comes down to who you are replacing really. Replace Coury with him? Sure. AJ Stewart? Maybe BCG would like to, but I like AJ. Stevenson? Close. I dont think if we are bringing someone back, BP is the one to talk about. He isnt going to make that much of a difference.
