I almost forgot. Years ago I took a girlfriend to the Manilow Copacabana concert, looked around the entire time to make sure I didn't see anyone I knew. However, after the concert I was well rewarded!

Barry Manilow knows that guys get flack for attending his concerts. He mentions that the ladies will be in a great mood by the end of the show so....

Nsync....and it was great!

I also saw Milli Vanilli when I was like 10 years old. I have to make fun of myself for that one.

Milli Vanilli...:thumb:

The best was NYSNC...my friend made fun of me, but the show they put on what really quite good...

When I was little I saw some duzies:

Boyz to Men

MC Hammer

and oh yes, New Kids on the Block!:D

Two concerts that fit the description of the title of this thread stand out in my mind.

Richard Marx

Weird Al Yankovic (saw him in college and met/talked with him at a fraternity party after the show:D)

I went to the Aerosmith and KISS concert about 4 years ago when it was at Riverbend.

I was also in attendance.:thumb:

I went to a TOOL concert once and my friends seem to chuckle about it every now and again...its funny because none of them are TOOL fans so they really dont know what they're missing. Im pretty sure that band puts on the greatest live show ever! Seriously.

I've been trying for a while now to picture this, but I can't ...

I understand.

I'm not much into country music, but a friend talked me into going to a George Strait concert at Rupp back about the time his "All My Ex'es Live In Texas" came out. It was a pretty good concert. I was impressed. Kathy Matea (sp) was the other singer that night.

Pavarotti

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Bon Jovi

Rascal Flatts

One group of "now" friends makes fun of me for seeing Ozzy.

....

The Statler Brothers.

Rascall Flatts and Sara Evans. I caught alot of heat for them both!

I saw the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffett was the warm up band. How lucky was that.:dancingpa

I went to one this summer that had Foreigner, Styxx, and Def Leppard playing.

All of you have horrible friends

Run to State mentioned Tom Jones . Jones is outstanding. Great entertainer, tremendous singer. Best rendition of "Green Green Grass of Home" ever. Enduring talent for five decades and still going...

Spyro Gyra. Caught flack from the guys but the date loved it. That's all that mattered.

Went to see Ally and AJ with my little girl at Kings Island. Nobody made fun of me though because it was for my little girl. I even liked two of the songs. When those 2 songs were played my son looked at me and said dad we heard the two best songs lets go ride. My wife and daughter stayed there and he and I went and rode the Drop Zone. He was 5 at the time, tall for his age, we also had a great time doing this. All in all I don't care who made fun of me it was a great day.

I will admit, Math, it was a very good concert indeed. I was expecting to hate it, turned out he was outstanding and so was his band. :thumb:

BTW, the women that were there (and there was a blue million of them) were for the most part young and darn good looking.

Prince with Shelia E.
