Which is really just another way to taunt. I still think the rumor is true, they have a class that is solely dedicated to being in the student section.

I know, and :sssh: on the class.

1) Covcath 2) Ashland. No one else comes even close.

Did not say they were on the same level. Hence #2. Cov. Cath is the best. Have not seen anybody better than Ashland's except Cov. CAth. At least Ashland student's are into the game and supporting their team. Give them some credit.

I gave them some credit. I said they were very enthusiastic. I'm all for students supporting their teams, I think it's great. I just think that by grouping Ashland with Cov Cath and then saying that no one else comes even close is a pretty bold statement. If you would have said 1.) Cov Cath and no one else comes close, I could have respected that. Just because Ashland imitates what Cov Cath does doesn't make them the second best cheering section in the state. I'll say this, Ashland is the best at mocking what Cov Cath does.

Honestly, I bought a guitar a few years ago and got pretty good at playing Simple Man and Sweet Home but that doesn't make the second greatest southern rock band of all time. Just because you can imitate something doesn't hold much weight.

Cov Cath's enthusiasm and originality makes them the best hands down in my opinion. EVERYONE including Ashland are in a distant 2nd.

Covington Catholic student section is by far the best in the state!

Haven't seen Cov. Cath. But I'd like to. I can say that Hazard has some of the most irritating and rudest fans!

I dont know about student sections, but Elliott County fans fill up the gym not matter where it is at.

I know back in my day we wouldn't let any girls within 5 or 6 rows of the court, they just ruin a student section.

1) CovCath 2) Rest of the State

Its a unanimous decision!!

I have never had the privlidge to see them on their home court...only at the State Tourney....I would watch them more than I did the game...:lol:

They get :thumb::thumb: from me.

I agree. Girls just want the guys to talk to them and not cheer. It made my mad when I was in high school and the girls didnt cheer.:mad::madman::irked:

Last year at the russell vs. ashland game was a great display of student section talent for both sides.

After watching the CCH-Mason County game last night, I have to say that I enjoyed the CCH cheering section a lot. Probably the most impressive thing about them is that they kept going at the same level all game long; even when their team was getting hammered.

Loved those "vintage unis" last night!
