Bellevue and Dayton in the playoffs wasnt too shabby!

The Boyle v Henry Clay was pretty impressive. Amazing comeback in the 4th quarter for Boyle, just for Henry Clay to throw a perfect pass to Boyd to win the game

This was the most exciting game I saw this season. Lots of 4th quarter drama.

Simon Kenton vs. Russell was an amazing game. SK comes back from a few scores to take the lead late. Russell drives down the field to take the lead back with like 9 seconds to go. On side kick to prevent a big return. Then on the last play a circus catch plus a 15 yard facemask sets up a long field goal for the SK win as time expires.

Both had exciting finishes.

Outside of all the St. X games, the best game I saw this year was the Shelby Co. vs Eastern game at Shelby Co. Eastern had Shelby Co. down on the ground with there foot on their neck ready to run'em through and Shelby Co. got up off the ground and preceded to kick Eastern's collective butts. It was a great comeback.

Raceland vs. LCA 2nd Round was a great game.

 

Has to be one of the best games that I have seen in a long time. A big come back to take the lead on a bad snap for the tying extra point, and a nice drive to set up a winning field goal with no time remaining. Great game, and I might add that it was by far the toughest game for LCA in their run to the championship game.

Williamsburg against Campbellsville was a great one, the second time around!

 

Would have to agree....the final 6 minutes plus the 2 OT's had me drained!

I enjoyed the Highlands / Trotwood Madison game. Trotwood has great athletes and it was awsome to see Highlands step up and play a good hard hitting aggressive game against them.

 

Agreed! The TM game not only was a fantastic game (on both sides) but held in a fabulous venue in a great "big-time" atmosphere event. The type of game the kids will never forget...even the ones that didn't actually get in. Much like this Friday's game in Louisville!

It was truly an ESPN Classic

I wasn't there but I would have to think that the Raceland/LCA district championship game would be hard to beat. Only way that one could have been better is that if Raceland would have won :thumb:.

 

Good Luck to ther LCA Eagles in the State A Championship Game :ylsuper:and we (Raceland) will see ya at our place next season.

Probably either the Lincoln Co.-Bardstown game, or the Ft. Campbell-Bardstown game. The second half of the first Bardstown-Danville meeting was pretty good, but the first half was kind of a dud.

Some great games this year:

 

Bellevue holding off Newport by getting turnover after turnover clinging to a 13-7 lead.

 

Dayton beating Holmes on a long punt return that set up the TD and then getting a two point conversion on a botched PAT to win 21-19.

 

Dayton beating Lynn Camp 20-15 when Lynn Camp drives to the one foot line on 4th and goal.

 

Ryle beating NewCath by intercepting a pass in the endzone on 4th and goal with seconds left.

 

NewCath beating Campbell County in OT after taking the tying FG off the board and accepting a penalty.

 

Dayton beating Beelvue in the regular season in a great atmosphere and then Bellevue beating Dayton in the playoffs.

 

NewCath beating Beechwood in a wild 4th quarter that saw Beechwood come back from being down 31-14 to make it 31-28 only to have NCC score 10 more in the last two minutes.

For me, it was the Trinity - Cincy St X game. They were the best team I saw this year.
