Good work compiling this post, but its really irrelevant because LSU played 3 times the competition that OSU played. Its easy to rack up big numbers against every team in Ohio not name Cincy :thumb:

These are meaningless stats but probably make better discusion foder than :sleep:

I think LSU wins this one but I expect to see a much better performance by the Buckeyes than last year. Although I believe their 7 month break from football will hurt them and they will get off to a slow and rusty start that they won't be able to fully recover from.

OK, as most of you know, I'm a huge buckeye fan so I obviously will root for my Bucks. But, I've said all along this isn't a great buckeye team, although they do find a way to win. They seem to have lapses during games where they just go through the motions sometimes as long as 15 minutes or so. (Mainly the offense) Boeckman isn't the most mobile. They don't have great speed at the wideouts and their defensive covers have been known to blow assignments.

The positives:

They have a good O line, they run the ball well, Boeckman is very accurate, and they are very well coached. Boeckman also seems to know his limitations. Their front 4 on D is as good as LSU's although not as big.

 

I also believe that Tressell learned a lot from last year and his team will be better prepared. Also no Hiesman hopefuls on this team which means that the team can practice together. (Smith missed some 15 or so practices last year due to the Heisman) With that I believe this game will be closer than all of the SEC fans seem to think.
