CovCath @ Mason County 12-7-07

Not all of the mason fans predicted a blowout, post number 2 I picked my Royals to win only by 5. Hope it is more, but I think CovCath will play close to

Mason.

Agreed. I love to watch the Cov. Cath. fan's come to life! They are fun to watch and this will be big game for Cov. Cath. I'm going upset here! Cov. Cath by 4.:jump:

What was your CovCath/LexCath pick again?

:p

For those CovCath fans/students who have never played or been in the Mason County Fieldhouse, make a point to take up the Royals offer of free tickets and get on down there Friday night.

The Fieldhouse is an amazing place to play, and as previous posters stated its the Mason County home opener and the house will be rockin.'

It might be one of the few times this season that you will be able to duplicate a regional tournament type atmosphere in a regular season game.

You will discover what makes the 10th Region Tournament at the Fieldhouse (this year at Montgomery County for the first time in eons) so special!

That's true, sorry for lumping you in.

Basketball aside. Any good places to get a good burger and a beverage before the game? After a good hour on the road, good chance I'll be a little hungry when I arrive. Just looking out for The Old Guy as I'm sure he would recommend Herb and Thelma's for the best burgers in town for those traveling up north before stopping in to the Colonel dome.

A real good place for a burger is DeLight's in Downtown Maysville, but I'm not real sure on what time they close. But other than that there isn't really a "burger joint" other than fast food. Another couple good places are Greg's Pizza or Pasquale's. Penn Station is always a good bet as well.

Tumbleweed would be a good choice if your have enough time. The have great chicken, burgers, steaks, and really good, cold beverages. lol.

Why would he recommend anything else? Herb and Thelma's has the best burgers in town!

It will be a good test for the royals. But i think that D.Miller will just be to much for CovCath to handle in his first home game this year. Royals win by 10.

DeSha's? They don't get a shout out? Good burgers...and good steaks.

I also like the Mexican place next to the Movie Theatre.

CCH5432, I hope you're right and I'm wrong -- it'll make the drive home more palatable. :D

First off being a St. Henry alum, I expect the Crusaders to give CCH a good fight Tuesday which will help CCH prepare. This is usually a battle and has been won by the home team each of the last 4 or 5 years. This one is at CCH.

As for "THE GAME" of the year so far last Friday, CovCath really surprised me. Especially when they got down 25-8 early and fought back. Eveyone on CCH can shoot the ball well from the outside except for Noll. They are one of the better rebounding CovCath teams I've seen in the past few years. They were much smaller than the Large Lex Cath boys, but hung right in there on the boards. I think they will give Mason a run but just won't have enough on the road. Good Luck Colonels!

I've never been to the Fieldhouse, but I hear great things. CCH will bring a huge crowd and I would expect to see a close to a sellout on Friday Night. Would any else agree CCH has one heck of a crazy tough schedule to start the seaon. 3 games, 2 vs the Top 2 teams in the state and 1 vs. a regional rival in week one of the season. WOW!!

Not sure of a sell out as it holds 5500 but maybe.
