December 1, 200718 yr According to Andy Fuhrman's source, Brian Kelly was at UM yesterday interviewing. Some people were saying that Miles was UM's 3rd option. Guess not. He was in Michigan recruiting. It had nothing to do with the Michigan job...
December 1, 200718 yr Geez did you read the previous posts at all? I'm just telling you it's done. I know it's not shocking. Just having a little fun with you:p
December 1, 200718 yr Herbstreit broke the news on Sportscenter about 40 minutes ago that Miles will be introduced on Monday. He didn't name his source, but I think it was BGP's own 98NCCalum. He's a good coach, but he seems like a complete jerk. Which means he probably would have been a better fit at Ohio $tate! LOL!
December 1, 200718 yr Mark it down.. You post this as if this is a big deal or something. So what? Coaches change jobs all the time. Newsflash..................Nobody cares. ;) Sorry, 98 I just wanted to join the others in piling on. It's kinda fun sometimes.
December 1, 200718 yr What I like is that LSU gave UM permission to speak after today, and yet the deal is already done, amazing.
December 1, 200718 yr What I like is that LSU gave UM permission to speak after today, and yet the deal is already done, amazing. That is pretty crazy. Herbstreet reports that the announcement will be made next week.
December 1, 200718 yr Mark it down.. This maybe the safes prediction youve ever made. This is a foregone conclusion already. You usually have good information. What did you do watch ESPN for the last few days? (btw, I am still waiting for Gillespie rumor clarification).
December 1, 200718 yr Why is that? I'm in the minority here, but he didn't even win his division last year and should have won a National Championship this year. I think they're getting much of the same as they had with Carr 10 to 11 wins a year and lose the big games with not near as much class.

With the schedule they played this year in the SEC it shouldn't be a surprise that they aren't in the National Championship, the SEC is just that good from top to bottom. If he can recruit some of that SEC speed to Michigan then The OSU better be a little scared, because we all saw how they played against Florida last year.

I think they're getting much of the same as they had with Carr 10 to 11 wins a year and lose the big games with not near as much class. To repeat myself from another thread: 10 to 11 wins a year! All I hear is how mighty the SEC is, yet this guy that everyone thinks is overrated wins 10-11 games a year in it, not to mention will propably be SEC champions this year. If anyone thinks LSU is traditionaly the powerhouse in SEC they are mistaken. Not until the last few years have they been a force year in year out. These LSU teams are not Sabens they are Miles. For example Lloyd has recruited just as well at Michigan as Miles and Saben has at LSU but he just does not develope players like Miles has. He is the perfect fit for this job. No one in the country will be more motivated to win at Michigan than Miles. Michigan football is in Miles blood. One last note on Miles: People sometimes forget about his first year at LSU. 10-2 while having to deal with the tragedy of Hurricane Catrina. That alone is pretty amazing!
December 1, 200718 yr I mentioned ESPN reporting this on the other thread about Miles and I got bashed a little.
December 1, 200718 yr I mentioned ESPN reporting this on the other thread about Miles and I got bashed a little. Which thread?
