I'm here gents, and that press conference said nothing.

If my info was wrong, then it was, there's a first time for everything.

But he didn't say anything in that press conference to tell me he still wasn't leaving.

GT, I don't get you. I said a hour and half ago that there was a Press Conference called by LSU, and it wasn't a rumor. There was a PC and thats all I said. This was not an "internet rumor". Lets look at some previous posts. English? How was that?

You said there was a presser with a new deal in place. Not true at all. It was just Miles trying to quiet the distraction...

So is the AP wrong in what they are reporting?

"New deal in Place" let me look at the other posts, I don't remember saying that. What about the "English comment"? You mentioned Money on the other posts. $3.5 or something. Again, lets go see.

I mentioned what I have been told is the LSU offer on the table. I simply didn't understand the cryptic tone of that particular post. Easy big fella...

Easy, I'm cool, I just checked what you said about me mentioning a deal, and I never said that. Move on, I'm going to. What does your source at Michigan say? Rememeber, I'm a Bama fan and I've been through more coaching sitiations the last 10 years, more than anybody on here.

Haven't heard back from my UM contact yet. As it stands it looks like both sides feel they have a deal with his agent agreed in principal...

Rich Rodriguze, ring a bell? Like I said, I've been thru some of these.

They win tonite, and Michigan makes a "Godfather offer" and he leaves. I was hoping he was gone.

This just in.....

Phil Fulmer is now being considered the one who leaked the Les Miles to Michigan story.

The funny thing is I could see old Fat Phil doing this.

ATLANTA -- LSU coach Les Miles says he's not going anywhere.

Miles, during the CBS telecast of LSU's Southeastern Conference championship game on Saturday, said he will be the head coach at LSU next year.

Still nothing?

Whether he's going or not that's what he had to say. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go at all even after saying this. He had that clause in his contract for a reason...

Michigan AD is on his way to meet with Miles after the game. My guy says it's 50/50 now after the word got out before the game. He also said there is a backup candidate in place but wouldn't give me a name yet... :irked:
