I haven't seen all the other teams play in the North, but it is hard to believe that #60 from Highlands is not on the 1st team. I thought all three LB's were unbelievable but he really stood out on film and on the field. Very physical!

 

#60 is the Fitzgerald kid that people have been talking about.

Personally, I didn't think either one of them were the among the best QB's in NKY. Definately didn't think Elliott was 1st team QB material, DB I agree with wholeheartedly. I'm sure Mr. Elliott has the talent to put up great numbers as a QB, but IMO the award should be based upon the accomplishments in the given season. I think Cody is a fine athlete and could honestly make this time at any position but line (maybe even there too) if given the opportunity. I just didn't think his season this year warranted a 1st team selection. I think Bricking, the kid from Campbell, and Bogle all warrant consideration here.....

All of these kids are fine athletes. I just happened to think that some other QBs were a little more deserving of the 1st team appointment this year. JMO.

Quick question whats the diffrence between NKAC Division I and the all star team which one is better?

No offense to either 2nd team QB but Cecil should have been listed. Nice to see SK had two underclassmen make the list in Wilson and Simpson.

Not to take anything away from the kids that made it but, Cecil, Hurtt, Fitsgerald, Simons should be mentioned!!! Although you can only have so many from one team.

It would be nice for all four to have the recognition for scrapbook material - however I think the whole HHS team is laser focused towards the hardware that goes on the finger and in the school's trophy case. Personally, the HHS team is an ALL STAR team in my book! Great bunch of student athletes that play extremely well together on and off the field. :thumb:
