I know I am in the minority, but I preffered the yellow busses to charter busses. Always seemed a lot more crammed on the chartered busses. The charter busses offered a lot more amenities, but for comfort (if you would call it that), I would rather take a yellow bus.

Sticky or GT could probably tell us what it was like to ride the "Short Bus"....

Unless Fort Campbell gets charter buses for the finals they will use the Big Yellow Buses for all rounds. With the Department of Defense fighting two wars there isn’t a lot of money for charter buses…

I think it depends on what kind of school you are from. I think the Private schools should ride in class with a chartered bus and the public schools should ride the big yellow buses. Lets face it if you are from a private school you should ride in class. Your parents have paid for you to ride in class. I saw at least one post on here where a private school took chartered buses to all away games. The public schools need to utilize the yellow school buses.

Some of the Independent School Districts have few to no yellows...They don't need them. As I said before, all away games for Highlands they use charters.

Parents pay for their children to attend public school too...it's called taxes.

At St. X we took charter buses to a scrimmage at henry clay and charter to lex cath and this past playoff game @ Marshall county. St. X also provided a charter bus for the fans as well.

JC came to Lincoln last week on school buses . Lincoln is going with charters for the game against Highlands.

 

Charters, New field, Jumbo Tron. Man is that place rich or what? Must be nice to have the money and space to put up a state of the art facility.
